About Me
I'm Desiree! I'm a mother of three, teacher and photographer! I love nature, camping, hiking, reading and diy projects! Most of my family on both sides are from New York and I have a life long goal of becoming a "46er", by hiking the 46 tallest peaks in New York state as well as hiking the Appalachian trail. I've got 4 peaks and countless miles down with 42 peaks to go and no time to complete the others, but I'll get there eventually! My adventures have taken me from Scotland to the Sequoia National Forest in California and a few places in between. My very favorite place will always be at home with my family.
I've been a photographer for over 15 years and have experience in and dabbled in almost every photographic genre including dark room and film work. My great grandfather sparked my passion when he left me his camera after his passing that still had some of his undeveloped pictures left on it when I was 16 years old.
What you can expect from me as a photographer will be a friendly, genuine and easygoing person that is passionate about my craft! I'm generally a natural light photographer who does a good mix of posed and lifestyle shots. I put my complete self into everything I do or I wouldn't do it otherwise!
